Finelib Jobs › Terms of Use
Terms of Use
Effective 6 November 2026. By using Finelib Jobs you agree to these terms and to the general Finelib.com terms.
1. The service
Finelib Jobs, run by FineLib Technologies Ltd, publishes job vacancies from Nigerian businesses and offers free career tools. It is free for job seekers. We update listings twice a week (Monday and Friday) and may change, pause or stop any part of the service.
2. Where jobs come from, and the limits of our checks
Jobs are published only for businesses with a Finelib listing and for verified international organisations (UN agencies, the African Union, development banks, ECOWAS, international NGOs and foreign companies hiring in Nigeria). They are taken from the employer’s own public careers page or job board, or sent to us by the employer, and pass our quality checks, as described on How we check jobs. This lowers the risk of fake adverts but is not a guarantee of employment, of the employer's conduct, or that details will not change. Always check the details on the employer’s own website. Hiring decisions, pay and working conditions are the employer's responsibility. Finelib is not an employment agency and is not a party to any job offer or contract.
3. Job seekers
- Use the information here for your own job search only.
- Apply honestly. Do not send false information to employers.
- Never pay to get a job. If anyone asks you for money in connection with a job listed here, do not pay, and report it to us.
- The free tools give general guidance. The take-home pay calculator is an estimate, not tax advice.
4. Employers
- Only businesses with a Finelib listing, and verified international organisations, may have jobs on Finelib Jobs, and only for real, open vacancies at their own business (or a named client, for recruitment firms we approve).
- If your business is listed on Finelib and publishes vacancies on its own website, we may list those vacancies here, with a link back to your website. You can ask us to change or remove any job, or to stop listing your jobs altogether, by emailing [email protected] or using “Report a problem” on the job. We act within one working day.
- You must not charge applicants any fee, at any stage.
- Jobs must meet our quality standards. We may edit wording for clarity, ask for more information, or decline a job without giving reasons.
- You must tell us when a role is filled or withdrawn so we can remove it.
- You confirm your job does not discriminate unlawfully and complies with Nigerian labour law.
- Breaking these rules may lead to removal of your jobs and, where relevant, review of your Finelib listing.
5. Content and links
Job adverts belong to the employers who published them. Other site content belongs to Finelib. You may share links to jobs freely. You may not copy listings in bulk, scrape the site, or republish jobs elsewhere without permission. Links to employer websites and Finelib listings are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party sites.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, submit spam or fake jobs, attempt to break its security, or use it to harass anyone.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Finelib is not liable for losses arising from using the site, from applying to or dealing with an employer, or from reliance on tool results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
