Ogun State Local Government Areas

Abeokuta North is a LGA in Ogun state which has its headquarters in Akomoje and is made up of several towns which includes Isagbesan, Ita-Kinoshi, Ita Balogun, Ita Iyalode, Ita Morin, Ita Oje, Oke Iddo, Ita, Oshin, Itaka, Ajitadun and Iyalo Iliewo Oke.

Abeokuta South is a Local Government Area in Ogun State, Nigeria housing its headquarters in the town of Ake Abeokuta comprising of number of towns which includes Abese, Abesin Isale, Abesin Oke, Abomolaso, Abule - Aje, Abule -Oke, Adeku and Afonja.

Ado Odo Ota Local Government area is one of the 19 local government areas of Ogun State headquartered in Ota (or Otta) comprising of number of towns which include Ado-Odo, Agbara, Igbesa, Iju-Ota, Itele, Kooko Ebiye Town, Owode and Sango Ota.

Ewekoro is a Local Government Area in Ogun state headquartered in Itori, consisting the villages and districts of Lambo, Loti,Ika, Ikeja, Ikereku, Ikija, Ilawo, Irenpa, Isaye, Iseku, Ishopin, Isofin orile, Isola, Itori, Itori Alase, Iwokun Nia and others.

Ifo Local Government Area is one of the LGA in Ogun State consisting of several towns and villages including Akute, Agbado, Ifo, Ojoolu, Abeloju, Jagunna, Lerin, Pakoto, and Alapoti.

Ijebu North East Local Government Area is one of the LGAs in Ogun state with its headquarters located in the town of Atan consisting of several towns such as Tiradona, Omutedo, Latibigun, Ododeyo, Irewon, Idotun, Alemafo, Gbawojo & Idagunke.

Ijebu North LGA is located in Ijebu Igbo Ogun State, consisting of towns and villages which includes Aajugunle, Aba Abekok, Aba Atala, Aba kaka, Aba Mosemi, Aba Nene, Aba Oke, Aba Panu, Aba Tedu, Aba Togungbe, Abekoko, Agbanje, Aityetutu and Ajalorun.

Ijebu Ode LGA counts as the second largest LGA in the state with its administrative center sited in Ijebu-lgbo comprising districts and areas of Ijagun Ijari / Ogbogbo, Ikangba, Imoru, Irewon, Isasa, Porogun, Iwade, Iwesi Village, Latogun etc

Ijebu-East Local Government Area has its administrative headquarters located in Ogbere with 3 major districts viz: Fetedo, Ogbere, and Ojowo making up the LGA.

Ikenne is a Local Government Area is has its headquaters seated in Ikenne and comprises of 5 major towns which are Iperu, Ilisha, Ogere, Irolu, and Ikenne.

Imeko Afon is a Local Government Area located in the town of Imeko, and consists of districts of Ilegbe, Ilubo, Imule, Iropo, Ita Egbe, Ita ige, Kajola, Koko, Lukosi, Mede, Modoga, Mogbara, Ogosa, Oju-Igo, Oke Eye, Oke Iwo, Oke Ojomo, Okere and Onibgedu.

Ipokia Local Government Area is in Ogun State at the town of Ipokia as its administrative headquarter, It comprises of the following towns and villages such as Aseko, Ihunbo, Koko, Oniro, Tongeji, Alaari, Madoga, Idiroko, Ita Egbe, Agosasa & others below.

Obafemi Owode Local Government Area is a LGA in Ogun State having its headquarters in the town of Owode, and is made up of several towns such as Obe, Odekunle Abatan, Odeyemi Olugbo, Odi, Oduroye, Oluwo Ifote, Oniworo, Oseni Kehinde, Osiele Sanya Akiloju.

Odeda Local Government Area is a LGA with its administrative headquarters situated at the town of Odeda, consisting of several towns which includes Ogboye, Ogeleje, Ogunbayo, Oluga, Olugbo, Rogun Rogun, Sokan, Agbe, Baagbon, Bangboye, Ego and Fagbemi.

Odogbolu Local Government Area is located in Odogbolu town and comprises of the towns and villages of Imagbon, Imaka, Adofe, Aiyepe, Araromi, Eyinwa, Ijesa Ijebu, Isaye, Itamerin, Moloko, Odogbolu, Ogoji, Ogudu, Okunowa, Omju Warun, Owoyade and others.

Ogun Waterside is a LGA in Ogun state and has its headquarters in Abigi town, comprising the villages and districts of Agbede, Agbure, Agerige, Agilla, Agodo, Aiyede, Aiyesan, Ajegunle, Apata, Araromi Odo, Araromi Oke, Arokola, Ayetunmara & Bolorun Duro.

Remo North Local Government Area with its headquarters situated in Isara Remo, consisting the towns of Ilara, Isara, Ode-Remo, Hara, Akaka, Ipara and Orile-Oko.

Sagamu is both a major city and a LGA in Ogun state, consisting of villages and districts of Ajeregn, Ewo Oliwo, Ewu-Lemo, Ewu Dihomey, Gbaga, Gunsemade, Lemo, Ode –Lemo, Ijoko, Ijokun, Ilara, Ilesun, Imagbon, Imogun, Imoro, Imusin, Imute, Ipa and Iraye.

Yewa North Local Government Area has its headquarters in situated at Ayetoro town and consist of other towns which includes Eggua, Ebute, Ibese, Iboro, Igbogila, Igan-Alade, Igan-Okoto, Imasai, Ijako, Komi, Sawonjo, Joga, Oja and Owode.

Yewa South LGA has its administrative headquarters in Illaro town and is made up of several towns and villages such as Ifeko Wajo, Ilaro, Abu, Abule Abu, Abule Ademola, Abule Ajayi Odi, Abule Akegbo, Abule, Debo, Owode, Owo, Sabo, Yakata, Onijam & Saabe.
