Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA)

The 2026 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is the 22nd edition of the African Movie Awards, billed to be held on 31st October 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa.

It is an annual movie recognition award for the best African directors, producers, scriptwriters, photographers, actors, actresses, and others.

It was put in place to promote the African movie industry and showcase its potential and great talents.
