The Junior Indaba

The Junior Indaba is an annual conference focused on investment in Africa’s resource sectors, including mining, oil & gas, natural resources, and energy, organized by Resources for Africa Investment Conferences South Africa.

The upcoming edition has been scheduled to take place on 9th - 10th June 2026, virtually and in person at the Country Club Johannesburg, Auckland Park, Johannesburg

The conference will feature mining and engineering consultants, institutional and private investors, fund managers, asset/investment management, private equity, and lots more.

It will also welcome panelists such as Roger Baxter, Chief Executive Officer, Minerals Council South Africa; Peter Leon, Partner, Herbert Smith & Freehills; Thabile Makgala, Chairperson, Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA), Group Executive, Mining Engineering, and Impala Platinum; and many more.

The Junior Indaba will provide financial and trade media through interviews and interactions with our speakers, sponsors, and delegates, as well as an interactive conversation about the junior mining sector in Africa, with the intention of aiding its advancement and development.

The conference is focused on improving the resources of investors, explorers, and developers in the junior mining sector across the continent.
