Converge Africa 2026

Kinetic is the organizer of Converge Africa 2026, previously known as the ECOM Africa conference, scheduled to be held on the 4th - 6th May 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa.

Converge Africa has emerged as a leading platform for stakeholders in the retail industry to discuss and investigate new trends, technological developments, and market challenges hindering e-commerce growth. The summit will feature more than 60 speakers and over 2,500 delegates.

The conference will feature presentations from across Africa and international experts representing various financial institutions who will discuss best practices and share knowledge and expertise on the current state and other factors affecting the FinTech industry.

The event will also feature topics on the enabling roles the private sector and government can play to influence uptake and usage in emerging markets, ensuring that opportunities prevalent in FinTech are not overshadowed by the risks and challenges of the market.
