
Echo East Africa is an agricultural summit established to support one of the world’s fastest-growing populations and to fight the food scarcity they face daily.
The Symposium was organized by ECHO East Africa and held in Arusha, Tanzania, from 3rd to 6th February 2026. While 2027 will hold February 2027, the actual date is not yet announced
The event will provide a good networking and training platform for all participants involved in poverty eradication in the pastoralist area around East Africa.
The plenary sessions will feature knowledgeable speakers followed by discussions and workshops led by regional agricultural development workers and experts.
The Uganda ECHO Symposium's typical themes usually include:
· Improving nutrition among the most food insecure
· Conservation Agriculture
· Improving markets/value chains
· Climate-smart agriculture in the driest areas in different agri-food systems
· Innovations in water harvesting and gardening practices and techniques
· Livestock practices, remote livestock services,
· Good development practices
· Environmental concerns
· Scaling up, and use of social/mass media
