Kaduna State Local Government Areas

Kajuru LGA is sitauted in the town of Kajuru, as the area council is made up of the districts of Buda, Maro, Rimau, Tantatu, Kutana, Kasuwan, Magani, Kallah, Idon, Afogo and Kajuru.

Birnin Gwari LGA is one 23 local government areas in Kaduna State of Nigeria, it has its headquarter in the town of Birnin Gwari, among other communities in the area council are Dogon Dawa, Kakangi, Gayam, Kutemesi, Magajin, Tabanni, and Kuyelo.

Chikun LGA in Kaduna State is domiciled in the town of Kujama, and the area council consists of Sabon-Tasha, Chikun, Kakau, Kuriga, Nassarawa, Rido, Gwagwada, Narayi, Ung.Yelwa among others.

Giwa LGA has an administrative headquarters in the town of Giwa and the area council covers other communities such as Katangi, Kadage, Kidandan, Yakawada, Shika, Pan Hauya, Idasu, Gangara, Galadimawa and Danmahawayi.

Igabi LGA has its administrative centre in the town of Turunku as the area council covers other communities of Afaka, Sabon-Birnin Daji, Kwarau, Rigachikun, Kerawa, Kawaraji, Gadan Gayan, and Birnin Yero.

Ikara LGA is situated in the town of Ikara and the council area consist of other districts such as Saya-Saya, Saulawa, Paki, Pala, Rumi, Kuya, Auchan, Kurmin Kogi and Furana.

Jaba LGA headquarters is found in the town of Kwoi and the area council consists districts of Sambam, Sabchem, Sabzuro, Nduyah, Nok, Fai, Fada, Dura, Daddu, Chori and Bitaro.

Jema'a LGA is situated in the commercial town of Kafanchan and the districts that make up the area council are Asso, Kagoma, Godogodo, Jagindi, Kaninkon, Maiqizo, Bedde, Atuku, Takau, Kafanchan and Jema'a.

Kachia LGA is a town and doubles as the council headquarters among other communities of the area such as Agunu, Kwaturu, Awon, Ankwa, Gumel, Kachia Urban, Katari, Doka, Bishini, Gidan Tagwai, Kurmin Musa and Sabon-Sarki.

Kaduna North LGA is headquartered in the town of Doka, among other communities of the council are Gabasawa, Gaji, Shaba, Hayin Banki, Kabala Costain, Kawo, Unguwan Dosa, unguwan Liman, Unguwan Sarki, Unguwan Shanu and Kaduna.

Kaduna South LGA is a local government area with its headquarters in the town of Makera & its consists of the districts of Tudan Wada West, Tudan Wada South, Tudan Wada North, Tudan Nuwapa, Sabon-Gari, Kakuri-Hausa, Kakuri-Gwari, Barnawa, Badoko, etc.

Kagarko LGA is a town and also serves as the council headquarters, among other communities in the area are Kagarko South, Kagarko North, Jere South, Jere North, Iddah, Aribi, Kukui, Kushe and Kurmin Jibrin.

Kaura LGA is headquartered in the town of Kaura, and the area council covers the communities of Kukum Daji, Fadan Takad, Kadarko, Bondong, Garaji, Fadan Attakar, Fada Ciki Gari, Kaura, Manchok and Zankan.

Kauru LGA has its administrative seat in the town of Kauru, among other towns of Dawaki, Pari, Makami, Geshere, Kamaru, Kauru West, Kauru East, Bital, Badurum Sama and Dawakasuwa.

Kubau LGA is one of the area councils of the state with headquarters in the town of Auchau, consisting districts of Zuntu, Pambegua, Zabi, Kargi, Karreh, Haskiya, Damau, Dutsen Wai and Anchau.

Kudan LGA is sited in the town of Hunkuyi and is one of the serving LGAs in the state and covers the communities of Kudan, Hunkuyi, Likoro, Zabi, Sabon Gari, Doka, Taba, Garu, Kauran Wali North, Kauran Wali South districts & wards.

Lere LGA is both a town and the area council headquarters which contains districts of Saminaka, Sabon Birnin, Ramin Kura, Lazuru, Kayarda, Yar Kasuwa, Dan Alhaji, Abadawa, Gure-Kahugu and Lere.

Makarfi LGA is one of the serving 23 Local Government Areas in the state and is headquartered in the town of Markafi & then council covers communities of Makarfi, Nasarawan Doya, Ruma, Gimi, Gazara, Meyere, Gubuchi & wards like Dorayi, Durum, Gwanki etc.

Sabon Gari LGA counts as a town and the former council area headquarters which consists of districts of Bomo, Muchia, Hanwa, Dogarawa, Chikaji, Basawa, Jama'a, Zabi, Samaru, Sabon-Gari and Unguwan Gabas.

Sanga LGA headquarters is domiciled in the town of Gwantu (Gbantu) among other communities of Gwantu, Aboro, Ayu, Wasa Station, Ninzam South, Ninzam West, Ninzam North Nnadu, Bokana, Arak, Sanga, Fadan Karshi and Fadan Ninzo.

Soba LGA of Kaduna State among the 23 Local Government Councils in the Kaduna State and is in the town of Maigama consisting other communities of Saba Town, Turawa, Richifa, Rahama, Dan Wata, Garun Gwanki, Gimba, Kinkiba, Kwassallo, Maigana and Gamagira.

Zangon-Kataf LGA is situated in the town of Zonkwa, among other communities of the area council are Zonzon, Zango Urban 1, Zango Urban 2, Zaman Dabo, Gidan Jatau, Gora, Kamantan, Kamaru Ikulu North, Madakiya, Unguwar Gaiya, Ungwan Rimi, and Zango-Kataf.

Zaria LGA is a commercial city and dooubles as the area headquarters with other communities of Wucicciri, Kwarbai 1&2, Kaura, Dambo, Dutsen Abba, Kufena, Tudun Wada, Tukur-Tukur, Gyallesu, Ung.Juma, Limanchi, Ung.Fatika and Limancin-Kona.
