Plateau State Local Government Areas

Barkin Ladi Local Government Area is one of the local government areas of Plateau state consisting of the districts and communities like Barkin Ladi, Gashishi,Tafan, Zabot, Gassa & Sho, Gindi Akwati, Helpane, Kapwis, Lobiving, Marit, Mazat and Kura falls.

Bassa Local Government Area is one of the serving existing local government area councils of the state with its headquarters in the town of Bassa, comprising the districts of Buhit, Buji, Kadamo, Jere, Kakkek, Kishika, Kwall, Mafara, Miango, Amo & Gurum.

Bokkos Local Government Area has its administrative headquarters in the town of Bokkos and consists the towns of Bokkos, Richa, Daffo, Manguna, Mushere West, Mushere Central, Toff, Sha and Kamwai with many villages too.

Jos East Local Government Area is located in the town Angware with many villages and the major districts of Federe, Forbur, Fursur, Shere and Maigemu.

Jos North Local Government Area is domiciled in the city center of Jos as the headquarters location with major district of Gwong and many other villages which are Rigiza, Rusau, Tudu-Wada, Targwon, Zakaliyo, Zangam, Zangan, Babale, Dong, Fudawa, etc.

Jos South Local Government Area is one of the serving local government areas in Plateau state sited in the town of Buruku comprising of four major districts of Du, Gyel, Kuru & Vwang and many other villages Bakuanvwei, Rankyeng, Ranta, Rasot etc.

Kanam is a Local Government Area in Plateau State located in Dengi town, which consists the districts and communities of Dengi, Garga, Kanam, Kantana, Bagyar, Bandiri, Bankilong, Basson, Bwalangyip, Dangi Town, Gar-Duam, Gumshir, Guzuk, Gwomgwom & others.

Kanke is a one of the serving Local Government Area in Plateau State located in the town of Kwal with composition of districts and villages including Amper, Ampang East, Garram, Kabwir, Pai, Tal, Lepgel, Leptar, Lepter Gugur, Nefur Mep, Neran, Pibwir etc.

Langtang South Local Government Area is located in Mabudi town, consisting of the towns and villages of Dadin Kowa, Fajul, Gamakai, Lashel, Resettlemen Area, Sabon Gida, Timbol, Turaki, Dorawa

Langtang-North Local Government Area Langtang is located in the commercial town of Langtang consisting of Langtang ( Rural), Pil, Bwarat & Gazum as the major districts; and the communities of Bali, Bankun, Bapkwai, Batkilang, Danga, Danglong, Dingjor etc.

Mangu (Mongu) is a commercial town and a Local Government serving also as the headquarters of the council consisting of Gindiri, Vodni, Panyam, Mangu, Langai, Kumbul, Kerang and Jipal as the major districts & villages like Dari,Chanso, Cinbun, Bwai, etc.

Mikang Local Government Area headquarters is located in the town of Tunkus, and consists of the towns and villages of Garkawa, Koeneom, Montol, Gingim, Paipung, Jimakwi, Killa, Kongnati, Lahil, Longgkrom, Poensong, Rotha, Swoshal, Tundun Wada, Yakoep etc

Pankshin Local Government Area is one of the serving local government councils located in the town of Pankshin and consists of the districts and communities of Chip, Fier, Kadung, Lankan, Pankshin Rural, Wokkos, Akong, Asa, Dyis/Abwor, Jak, Jing, Kap etc.

Qua'an Pan Local Government Area is one of the local government with its headquarters located in the town of Baap, consisting of villages and towns of Bwall, Doemak, Dokan, Kasuwa, Kwal (Koffar), Kwalla, Kwande, Kwang, Namu, Chim, Goeba’an, Goepin etc.

Wase is a town as well as a Local Government Area serving as the headquarters of Wase LGA with the districts, towns and villages of Bashar, Kadarko, Lamba, Wase Town, Gaji Bashar, Gingir, Gudu, Kanpani, Madaci, Nyalun, Sabon-Layi, Safiyo, Yuli, Zurak etc.
