Kebbi State Local Government Areas

Aliero Local Government is both a town and a LGA headquaters in Kebbi state and the area coucil consists districts of Aliero, Sabiyal, Dangaladima I & II, Fada I & II, Danwarai, Jiga-Makera, Kashin Zama & Rafin Bauna.

Arewa Dandi LGA has its administrative headquarters in the town of Arewa Dandi, among other communities of the local government area are Baraje Buii, Dantsoho, Kangiwa, Jarkuka, Falde, Feske, Gorun Dikko, Chibike, Gumumadaai and Rafin-tsaka.

Argungun is a town and also a local government in Kebbi state and serves as the area council headquarters, among other communities of the council are Kokami South, Kokami North, Sarkawa, Rumbuki, Lailaba Sauwa, Galadima, Argungun, Alwasa, Gottomo & Dikko.

Augie Local Government Area is situated in the town of Augie and the area council covers communities of Augie South, Augie North, Bagaye, Mera, Bayawa South, Bayawa North, Birnin Tude, Gudale, Bubuce, Dundaye, Kwaido, Zagi, Illela, Tiggi, Awade & Yola.

Bagudo LGA is one of the area councils of the state comprising of other towns which includes Kwasara, Bahindi, Sharabi, Bani, Illoo, Sabon-Gari, Yantau, Kaoje, Gwamba, Kende, Kurgu, Lagaga, Kwanguwai, Geza, Gumi, Gyalange, Zagga, Gente and Matsinka.

Birnin Kebbi is the capital city of the state and also a LGA which consists districts of Birni Kebbi, Mafara, Ambursa, Dangoladina, Godongaji, Galumbe, Yamama, Kola, Tarasa, Laga, Makera, Nassarawa I & II, Zauro, Ujaviyo, Gawasu, Kardi and Mijin-Nana.

Bunza Local Government Area is located in the Town of Bunza and the area council is made of communities and villages like Bunza, Dangaladima, Raha, Zogirma, Gwarde, Maidahini, Matseri, Modomawa, Sabon Birni, T/Dannufe, Salawai and Tilli.

Dandi is a Local Government Area of Kebbi State with administrative center in the Town of Kamba, Buma, Dolekaina, Fana, Shiko, Kwakwaba, Kyangakwai, Maigwaza, Maihausawa, Bani-zumbu, Danyaku, Fingilla, Galaru, Geza, Kokani, Kuka, Kutu Kullu and Maidaji.

Danko-Wasagu LGA is located in the town of Ribah and the council consist districts of Shindi, Machika, Waje, Wasagu, Danko, Maga, Kelekanya, Kyabu, Kandu Ribah, Yalmo, Ayu, Bena, Dan Umaru, Mairairai and others.

Fakai is one of the Local Government Area in Kebbi which is located in the Town of Mahuta, among other communities of the council are Gulbin Kuka, Inga, Kangi, Kelle, Magaji Fakai, Mahuta,

Gwandu is a town and doubles as a local government area administrative center and the council consists district of Kwasgara, Gwandu, Bada, Kambaza, Cheberu, Sarkin Fawa, Marafa, Dalijan, Maruda, Magama, Gulmare Amore, Dodoru, Bundusule, Danjema, Gwabbare.

Jega is a local government area in Kebbi with Headquaters in the town of Jega and the area council covers other communities of Maggi, Katanga, Fagada, Kimba, Alelu, Gehuru, Dangami, Dunbegu, Nassarawa, Kyarmi, Birni-Mallam, Kokani, Firchin and Bausara.

Kalgo LGA is situated in the Town of Kalgo, as the council area consists districts of Zuguru, Etene, Wurogauri, Nayalwa, Keta Fulani, T/Wada, Wuro Gauri, Keta HausawaKalgo, Mutubore, Kuka, Hirishi, Diggi, Gayi, Gangare, Dangoma, Badariya and Magarza.

Koko/Besse is a Local Government Area located in the town of Koko-Besse, among other communities of the area council are Sabon-Gari, Dustin Mari, Jadadi, Fircin, Magaji, Lani Damba, Bakoshi, Zariya, Kalakala, Karamai, Madacci, Tufukka and Maikwardi.

Maiyama is a town and also a LGA administrative center as the area council is made of other communities and villages like Gubba, Mayalo, Botoro Gadi, Sambawa, Sarandosa, Mungadi Birni, Yarkamba, Sabon-Sara, Kawara, Dogon Daji, Karaye, Kure and others.

Ngaski LGA is in the town of Wara and the council area consists other communities and villages of Birnin-Yauri, Gafara, Machupa, Garin Baka, Mokawa, Kambuwa, Darimaraya, Libota, Kwangia, Ngaski, Utono, Hoge Wara, Uleira, kimo, Makirim and Chipanini

Sakaba LGA is situated in the town of Sakaba and the area council covers other communities of Dankan- Kambari, Dirin Daji, Dirin Gari, Dokan Hausawa, Domo Garu, Doka, Beve, Maza-Maza, Dongo Manga, Dorowa, Elembelu, Gelwasa, Ghazi, Jan Binni and Jan Dutsi.

Shanga is a LGA of Kebbi State with its administrative headquarters in the town of Shanga & the council covers communities of Golongo, Hundeji, Yarbesse, Tarkwere, Sawashi, Sokage, Tefki-Tara, Raha,Bunkuji, Atuwo, Sakage, Atuwo, Ingu, Binuwa & Tabki Tara.

Suru LGA is in the towns of Dakingari and the area council is made of other towns and villages like Daniya, Ginga, Gwafadi, Hore, Kainiki, Kaji, Kawara, Kwakware, Maikari, Nagwade, Sangelu, Shema, Suru, Takalafiya, Tanikwara, Yarm, Aljannare and Bandan.

Yauri Local Government Area consists other communities of Gungun, Chulu, Yabo, Koma, Sarki, Jigima, Kyauru, Ruwan Dorowa , Baha, Tondi, R/ Kuka, T/ Maikaho, Tungar Bindiga Yelwa-central, Yelwa- north, Yelwa-east, Yelawa-south, Yelwa-west and Zamare.

Zuru is a commercial town and also the local government area administrative center of Zuru Area council which is made of districts of Bedi, Zodi, Tadurga, Seme, Senchi, Ciroman, Dabai, Isgogo, Dago Manga, Ushe, Rafin Zuru, Rikoto, Rumu and Doben.
