Mapo Hall was built in 1925 and commissioned in 1929. The hall was further renovated in the year 2006.

Mapo Hall is the official city hall of Ibadan and has since its inception hosted lots of corporate events and functions including conventions, national gatherings, concerts, Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and lots more.

It has a capacity of five thousand (5,000) seats. It also has a mini museum which is often visited for recreational and educational purposes.

The main entrance to the hall is in Ogunmola street which faces Mapo road.

Mapo Hall is very close to Ibadan South-East Local Government Secretariat and Mapo fire station.
