Lugard Hall

The Lugard Hall is an important historical spot located within the Kaduna state house of assembly. It was commission by Lord Lugard who amalgamated the Northern and Southern Protectorates to form Nigeria in 1914.

It served as the legislative House of the Northern Region from 1954 to 1967 when Kaduna was the capital of the region. The Lugard Hall complex is a replica of the British House of Commons and that of the House of Lords, making it the third of its kind in the world.

Presently, it remains the legislative office with very good tour of buildings and premise.
