How the estimate works

Supply routes are totalled and receive a supply allowance. Soil, waste-water and vent routes are totalled separately with their own allowance. Each is divided by its stock pipe length and rounded up. Fixture points remain separate. Entered fittings receive the selected spare allowance and are rounded up. This keeps physical quantity estimation separate from hydraulic and sanitary design.
