Cost-estimating boundary: This is a budgeting calculator, not a wage determination or contract document. Confirm whether quoted labour includes supervision, tools, transport, accommodation, overtime, taxes/statutory obligations, insurance, specialist equipment, mobilisation, demobilisation, rework and contractor overhead/profit. Do not double-count items already included in a contractor's rate.

How the calculation works

Daily Workers: workers × days × entered daily rate, plus entered additional labour-related costs, then contingency. Measured Work: measured quantity × entered labour rate per unit, plus additional costs, then contingency. The calculator keeps user-entered rates separate from live market prices so a mathematical estimate cannot be mistaken for a current Nigerian labour quotation.
