Greater Lagos Fiesta

Greater Lagos Fiesta, formally known as Lagos countdown or One Lagos Fiesta, is an annual New Year event  celebrated by people residing in Lagos, which usually starts every 29 December 2023 to 1st January 2024 every year.

The musical event was designed to provide a platform to promote commerce, arts, culture, unity, and happiness among the people of Lagos State in celebration of the yuletide.

The event will be hosted in 5 locations across Lagos. It will offer many exciting and entertaining programs like dance, performing arts, comedy, cultural dance from different troupes, and more.

The event features many renowned artists, cutting across genres, vocal experts, and rappers from Nigeria, and is expected to host thousands of spectators from across Nigeria and beyond.

Greater Lagos Fiesta, which took over from Lagos Countdown, has a wide range of music performances in five divisions across Lagos State that usher in the New Year and have fun activities at its core.

The Greater Lagos Fiesta usually begins on December 1st, across the state's five divisions, and ends on January 1. The five divisions of the Lagos state include Epe, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Ikeja (Agege).

The event aims to transform the five divisions within Lagos into tourist and holiday destinations for eight days of fun activities as millions of people visit Lagos to celebrate their holiday season.
