Design Indaba Emerging Creatives South Africa

The annual Design Indaba Emerging Creatives is an annual conference that creates a platform for all of South Africa's future designers to gain support, education, and mentoring opportunities.

It is organized by the Department of Sports, Arts & Culture, Republic of South Africa. The class of 2023 is now open and they are accepting entries. However, submissions will close on the 30th of November 2022.

It is open for emerging designers as well as students, and young professionals. It will be offering a live broadcast from the main plenary session to various venues around Southern Africa, at a reduced rate.

It will also expose participants to innovative, creative, out-of-the-box thinking, a more significant impact of creativity and design on the economy.

The Design Indaba Conference is a creative program for young people who have little industry exposure and aims to bring down barriers in the ways of young people rising in the creative economy.

It will create a platform to be inspired by the best designers in the world and the participants will be networking with both local and international industry leaders.
